Larry’s Lawnchair is a feature-length documentary (IN PRODUCTION) about the life of Larry Walters, who in 1982 attached 42 helium filled weather balloons to his lawnchair and soared up over 16,000 ft above Los Angeles. Larry survived his adventure, which he said was the fulfillment of a 20 year dream. 11 years after the spotlight faded, Larry hiked into the Angeles National Forest, and shot himself in the heart.
